At this year’s LogiChem Conference, GADOT Group was honored with the LogiChem Excellence in Sustainability Award for our Low-Carbon Chemical Supply Chain Initiative.
This recognition reflects the impact of combining infrastructure, logistics, and shipping to deliver real, measurable decarbonization across the chemical supply chain.
Across our European operations we are implementing solutions that reduce emissions today while maintaining safe and reliable  operations.

Key Results:
• ~13,900 tonnes of CO₂e reduced annually across terminal and maritime operations
• >6,000 tonnes of CO₂e avoided each year through renewable electricity and sustainable heat at GADOT Belgium
• ~7,900 tonnes of CO₂ savings annually from fleet efficiency measures at Chemship, the shipping division of GADOT Europe
• Wind-assisted propulsion installed on MT Chemical Challenger, the first chemical tanker worldwide equipped with this technology
These results demonstrate how terminal infrastructure, chemical logistics and maritime transport can work together to reduce emissions across the entire supply chain.
A big thank you to all colleagues across GADOT Belgium, Chemship and GADOT Group whose work made this possible.
And thank you to the LogiChem community for recognizing the importance of practical, scalable solutions for more sustainable chemical supply chains.
