The scope of activities for this customer at the new location will include the majority of operational and logistics services, including the handling and the filling of chemical products into bags, big bags, drums and IBCs as well as the loading and discharge of liquid products from and into rail tank cars, road tankers, tank containers, trucks and overseas containers. In addition, GADOT will execute associated administrative activities for the involved production units.
As from 1st September 2020 GADOT will start its “24 hours / 7 days per week” operations at Wiesbaden and ramp them up based on a phased approach.
More than 70 industrial and mid-sized companies are situated in the Kalle-Albert industrial park on an area of about 960.000 m². The companies employ more than 5.600 people and generate revenues exceeding 1 bio. Euro annually.
