The materials are stored in shore tanks at 3 sites: Haroshet, the Storage and Handling Terminal (South Terminal), and the Moshe Johananoff Terminal (North Terminal)

GADOT Storage & Handling (Southern Terminal)

  • Located on the south side of the Kishon River
  • This is the only public terminal in Israel, fully operated by Gadot’s Operations staff
  • The terminal has 90 tanks of various sizes, totaling about 47,000 m3 tank capacity for bulk storage
  • The shore tanks range between 70 m3 – 2,650 m3
  • There are iron, fiberglass, and epoxy-coated steel shore tanks
  • Tanker truck and ISO container cleaning station
  • Land Warehouse Management – bulk and finished products for the company’s customers
  • The terminal contains one ship dock, allowing entry of vessels according to the following specifications:
    Jetty port 1: depth 8 m, width 25 m, length 135 m
  • The terminal can store chemicals from the following groups: 6 – toxic, 8 – corrosive, 9 – others, and non-hazardous materials
  • Bonded services – storing bulk in shore tanks, enabling the company’s customers to use these tanks as bonded warehouses (itinerant).

Moshe Johananoff Terminal (Northern Terminal)

  • Located in the Haifa Port Chemical Terminal on the northern side of the Kishon River
  • The terminal has 42 tanks of various sizes, totaling about 17.500 m3 tank capacity for bulk storage
  • The shore tanks range between 85 m3 – 1,150 m3
  • There are iron, stainless steel, fiberglass and epoxy-coated steel shore tanks
  • Terminal access is possible from the sea (tankers and tugs) and inland road tanks and trucks.
  • The terminal has three ship docks, allowing entry of vessels according to the following specifications:
    Jetty port 1: depth 7.5 m, width 17 m, length 110 m
    Jetty port 2: depth 9.6 m, width 25 m, length 170 m
    Jetty port 3: depth 10.5 m, width 25 m, length 170 m
  • The terminal can store chemicals from the following groups: 3 – flammable liquids, 6 – toxic, 8 – corrosives, 9 – others
  • The terminal has a vapor recovery system, in accordance with the requirements of environmental protection laws\
  • Blending shore tanks are equipped with a full contact floating roof with double gasket, with the ability to create blends via an inner blending jet
  • Bonded services – storing bulk in shore tanks, enabling the company’s customers to rent these tanks as bonded warehouses (itinerant).
  • 42 tanks, 17,500 m3 tank capacity for storing bulk
  • Storage and distribution of flammable chemicals.
  • Denaturated alcohol license.

 

Haroshet Site (West and East)

  • Located in Haifa, approximately 0.5 km from our South and North terminals
  • 26 tanks of various sizes, 2,300 m3 tank capacity for storing bulk
  • The shore tanks range between 20 m3 to 250 m3
  • There are iron and stainless steel shore tanks
  • Terminal access is possible only from inland roads (Coast terminal)
  • Western site – a warehouse of finished products for the company’s customers, distribution of finished products to customers, bulk storage of materials (non-flammable)
  • The terminal can store chemicals from the following groups: 3 – flammable liquids, 6 – toxic, 8 – corrosives, 9 – others
  • The terminal has a vapor recovery system, in accordance with the requirements of environmental protection laws.

In addition the terminal provides the following services:

  • Tanker truck and ISO tank washing station
    The washing station washes solvents, mineral oils, base oils, acids and bases, and has a dedicated drying facility that includes three parking bays
  • Warehousing management – inventory management, storage, and handling of bulk and finished products
  • Heating
  • Nitrogen
  • Blending/Circulation
  • Bonded services

Storing bulk in shore tanks, which can be rented by the company’s customers as bonded warehouses (itinerant).
